SNAP

Candidates aspiring to join MBA / MSc programmes offered by Institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU] have to appear for the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Online Test 2019. A candidate needs to register for SNAP Test and also register for the Institute(s) offering her/his choice of programme(s) by paying separate registration fee for each programme. If shortlisted, s/he would then need to attend the further admission (GE-PIWAT) process conducted by each of these Institutes individually.

SNAP 2019 selection weightage : (100 marks)
Snap score scaled out of 50 – 50 marks
Group Exercise – 10 marks
Personal Interaction – 30 marks
Writing Ability Test – 10 marks

Duration of courses– 2 years

Eligibility of MBA/MSc Programmes:

Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes.


Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Eligibility for MBA –Strategy and Leadership programmes– SIBM, Pune

Graduate from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste /Scheduled Tribes) at graduation level and a minimum full time work experience of 4 years (48 months) after graduation as of 31st May, 2020

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Eligibility for MBA –Quantitative Finance– SIBM, Bengaluru

Graduate from any recognized University/Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).

The students must have studied Mathematics/Statistics during

Class XII.

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

ELigibility for Master of Business Administration (Data Sciences & Data Analytics.

Candidate should be Graduate with Mathematics at 10+2 level from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes.

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability
Normal Questions- 34 Marks -1.5 per question Total Marks- 51
Analytical & Logical Reasoning
Normal Questions- 36 Marks -1.5 per question Total Marks- 54
Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency
Normal Questions- 35 Marks -1 per question
Special Questons(FIB)- 5 MArks- 2 per question Total marks- 45
Full Marks- 150

SNAP is an online test of 2 hours duration.
Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks for Normal Questions and for Special Questions also.
